Introducing our race partner: Pivovar Krakonoš

Krakonos brewery is located in the center of the town of Trutnov. Since 1994, the brewery has been operated by the Trutnov company Krakonoš spol. s r.o. Currently, the Krakonoš brewery produces five types of beer with a total volume of over 100 thousand hectoliters per year. For Christmas and Easter, the market is enriched with a strong special light beer Krakonoš 14. The beer is distributed in Bohemia, mainly in the East, but also in Moravia. The Krakonoš brewery produces beer using the classic bottom-fermented beer technology. The beer is unpasteurized, microbially filtered. For the production of beer, water is pumped from its own well, which is over 80 meters deep and is supplied by the Krkonoš springs.

Introducing our race partner: IONTMAX

IONTMAX focuses on personalized functional hydration based on real sodium and mineral losses through sweat during performance. It’s not just about drinking fluids, but about giving the body exactly what it actually loses under load.

They build on natural products without unnecessary additives and solutions that work in real conditions – both in training and during races. Part of their approach also includes hydrogel-based nutrition, which helps the body absorb energy more efficiently and gently. This reduces digestive strain, lowers the risk of stomach issues during performance, and allows for more stable energy intake over longer efforts.

We’re happy to have IONTMAX as part of the race and to support athletes in both performance and recovery.

WORLD MASTERS MOUNTAIN RUNNING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026 SET FOR JANSKÉ LÁZNĚ

Preparations for the 2026 World Masters Mountain Running Championships (WMMRC) are entering their final phase, as the Local Organising Committee continues to advance the delivery of one of the most established and internationally representative events in mountain running.

Set to take place from 26–28 June 2026 in the mountain resort of Janské Lázně, the Championships will once again bring together athletes from across the world, reflecting both the competitive depth and the inclusive nature of masters mountain running. Already, more than 30 countries are represented among registered participants, underlining the global reach and continued appeal of the event.
