The Organising Committee for the World Masters Mountain Running Championships (WMMRC) 2026 confirms that the official event website is now live and athlete registrations are open for the championship weekend in Janské Lázně, Krkonoše (Giant Mountains), 26–28 June 2026.

Registration is open with a tiered fee calendar—early entry is recommended to secure preferred pricing and team planning. A continually updated start-list/entry section will keep participants and managers informed as national delegations submit their rosters.

World  Masters Mountain Running Championships 2025 was held in the Italian town of Meduno, the last week in August. Our athletes were able to compete and brought home several medals.

Our organizing team (LOC) TJ Maratonstav Úpice, led by its president Mr. Karel Šklíba, then ceremoniously took over the flag from the hands of the WMRA representative Mr. Tomo Šarf and the Italian organizer Severino Bozzer. We thank WMRA and the organizers of the WMMRC 2025 and we believe that our WMMRC 2026 in Janské Lázně Town will also be a success. Our organizing team has been working very hard.

The WMRA (World Mountain Running Association) has announced and included in the WMRA calendar the World Masters Mountain Running Championships 2026, which will be held in the picturesque surroundings of the spa town of Janské Lázně at the foot of Černá hora, a part of our beautiful Krkonoše Mountains (Giant Mountains).
